The British Council Pakistan in collaboration with Saffron Music (UK) invites aspiring womxn artists to submit their applications for “Womxn in Music Tech - Pakistan”. Given the limited access to music tech and training, the purpose of this programme is to provide a safe learning space for womxn pursuing music in Pakistan. Through a series of online workshops, mentoring sessions and events, the Saffron Membership will enable musicians to learn new skills in the field of music tech and grrow their profile as artists within the music sector. Saffron’s aim is to advance gender equality in the sector by creative a safe space for womxn, female-identifying and non-binary people (womxn) to learn and build confidence.

Selected participants will have access to the Saffron Membership Club for 12 months.

ABOUT SAFFRON MEMBERS 

Saffron Members is a digital member’s club providing year-round tools and opportunities for women to connect, learn and grow in music and music technology.

The club is based around 3 different strands of monthly online workshops that members can access live on Zoom or on watch-back. The workshops have different special guests each month and are hosted by women leading the way in their fields of expertise, such as music production, sound engineering, composing, DJing and artist marketing. The workshops provide a safe space to make direct connections with other women in music around the world, share your own music for constructive feedback, learn music-making tips and build confidence in yourselves as artists.
