Why use an education agent
Education agents can assist not just with the application process, but also with other matters such as visas, accommodation, travel, and more.
What do I need to consider?
Education agents have established formal partnerships with specific schools, colleges, and universities, which enables them to have extensive knowledge about the application processes and provide practical assistance. If you have already decided about the institution you want to apply to, choosing an agent who represents that education center might be the ideal choice for you.
Alternatively, if you are open to exploring various education centers and finding the one that suits you the best, it is important to make sure that the agent can offer you a comprehensive range of options, not just the schools, colleges, or universities they represent.

How to find an agent
In case you have already selected a college, university, or school where you wish to pursue your education, it is recommended to check if they have any agents in your country with whom they have a regular working relationship.
Alternatively, you can refer to the Global Agents List provided by the British Council, which includes a list of certified agents in your country. These agents have completed the British Council's Agents Training Certificate program within the last two years, indicating their thorough understanding of the UK's education system.
Safety
Using the British Council’s Global Agents List, you can also check whether the institution you are interested in complies with the Quality Assurance Agency (QAA). The QAA issues guidance to all UK institutions to ensure that they properly support and train their agents, and encourage them to incorporate the British Council Code of Ethics into their agents’ contracts.
