A workshop where children will be given a wide variety of art supplies from which to create their own puppet. Each child’s puppet will reflect a profession of their choice, based on their experiences and ideas.
A group discussion will focus on the way grown-ups may not understand some parts of their lives as a girl/boy. Once they have engaged with each other and learned new things through the activity and discussion, they will exchange ideas on what they will change in the future.
The main purpose of the activity is to break the gender stereotypes associated with many professions.
