SoundScape is our flagship event celebrating the rich musical heritage and talent of Pakistan and enabling a more vibrant music ecosystem within the country.
These music masterclasses offer developing artists and music professionals an opportunity to build capacity and enhance their skills by learning from leading local and international experts.
The first series of six Music Masterclasses took place at the British Council in Karachi and we are now bringing another exciting edition to Lahore.

Masterclass VII - How To Be Yourself: Intentional Songwriting & Originality in Sampling

Towers is the dynamic duo of Blal Bloch and ASHIR - two guys from Karachi whose music reflects part of the heart and soul of their city. Their sound effortlessly blends R&B, hip-hop and indie pop, creating a unique sonic experience that deeply resonates with their listeners. Blal brings soulful vocals to the table, while ASHIR delivers powerful rap verses, giving their songs the perfect balance. Their music also caught the attention of brands, leading to successful associations with the likes of Nescafe and Spotify among others. Towers' electrifying performances have taken them to stages in Karachi, Lahore and Islamabad. Their journey began at the Lahore Music Meet in 2020 and since then, they have pushed boundaries and continued to showcase their musical prowess.

Asfar Hussain is a Pakistani singer and composer and lead vocalist of Bayaan - a rock band formed by five friends who won the ‘Pepsi Battle of the Bands’ in 2018. Asfar is known for his work with Coke Studio and Nescafe Basement and has been nominated for three categories in the Lux Style Awards for Best Song, Singer of the Year and Most Streamed Song of the Year Viewer’s Choice Awards.
