Members are requested to be respectful and courteous towards others. The libraries have zero tolerance policy for disruptive, threatening, or inappropriate behaviour towards staff and/or members. Members are responsible for their belongings and cannot leave their personal items unattended. Library staff is not responsible if any personal belonging goes missing.
Library opening hours are Monday to Saturday, 10:00 am - 6:00 pm in Karachi and Tuesday to Saturday, 10:00 am - 6:00 pm in Lahore. Members will not be given access beyond the standard opening hours. The library space is open to all members except digital members. Digital Library members will only have online access to our resources. All members must carry their membership card on the library premises and show it on request to library and security staff. Children below the age of 11 will not be allowed unaccompanied into the library.
Every single one of us who occupies the library in any capacity is entitled to a safe space: a space free of discomfort or fear, a space free of bullying and harassment of any kind. We will inhabit this space together honouring our differences and celebrating the gifts we each bring to the table.

Now in its fifth year, The Zeenat Haroon Rashid Writing Prize for Women was set up to honour Zeenat Haroon Rashid (21 Jan 1928 - 8 April 2017), a founding member of the Women’s’ National Guard at the time of Independence. The competition provides an opportunity for Pakistani women to express their voice through writing and supports those who wish to pursue writing as a career. The writing competition carries a cash award of PKR 100,000.

In this lesson about the Solar System, students will be introduced to some vocabulary for talking about space. They’ll be told a story about two characters going on a tour of the Solar System and complete a worksheet where they order the planets.
In this lesson about daily routines, students will revise telling the time in English, then be introduced to a new set of vocabulary by the teacher through the use of flashcards.
