Individual membership
Adults aged 18 and above are eligible for individual membership.
Features
- Access to the Karachi and Lahore libraries; opening hours are 10 am to 6 pm, Tuesday to Saturday
- Remote access to the British Council Digital Library with thousands of learning and entertainment resources, available around the clock
- Borrowing rights of upto 8 books at a time from our full collection of 12000 books in each library
- Access to an online library account to reserve books in our catalogue, keep track of borrowed items and renew them remotely.

- Each library offers free Wi-Fi, iPads, and headphones that you can borrow and use on-site, along with printing and photocopying facilities

Family membership
Family membership covers 2 adults (parents/guardians) and 4 children aged between 5-17.

Digital only membership
Adults aged 18 and above, residing anywhere in Pakistan, are eligible for digital membership.

- 24/7 access to the Digital Library from anywhere in Pakistan via a custom web and mobile app

Registration
- To sign-up for Digital Membership, you must complete an online registration form.
- After entering your details and submitting the form, you will receive guidelines to pay your membership fee via online bank transfer or ATM.
- Sign up and pay online with a debit/credit card.
Please note that international transactions will have to be enabled on your card for your payment to process successfully. The British Council does not impose any additional charges on card payments. Bank charges may apply - Sign up and pay via bank trank transfer.
